Jonathan Saunders

Autumn – Winter 2013/14

Famed for his use of colour and print Jonathan Saunders presented a flirtatious and youthful collection. Playing to his strengths the designs announced themselves in bold colours coupled with daring interruptions of damask and polka dot style prints.

The designs seemed tailor made for a femme fatale in 2013, the tailoring with chest grazing necklines and thigh high splits was overtly and classical sexy but was then instantly modernised by the bright and eclectic colour palette. The dresses and outwear were the standout pieces from this collection with blush pink coats and merino wool jackets Jonathan injected his easy and accessible aesthetic into autumn winter wear.

The designer achieved a diverse collection that was held together by a strong colour and print selection and an approachable sexiness to the designs.
