Autumn-Winter 2011/12 –  It was clear what Ennio Capasa was trying to create without having to explain his collection. He spoke of four colour stories with a little bit of black in everything. That was true. With black and white, black with powder blue, black with scarlet and black with yellow Capasa created a neat collection. The use of textiles symbolised the modernist roots and essential aesthetics throughout the collection. There was a merging of materials using laser, eco-plaster and technology. New fabrics were used like the rubber leaves on a black tunic and pale blue shiny PVC sleeves on a cocooning T-shirt (cocoon being a paramount shape in the collection). The creation of a modernist vision transpired through raw-edged jackets and white hooded tunics. Capasa had well and truly created the modern woman.
