Hans Feurer
Hans Feurer was born in 1933 in Switzerland.
He studied Photography in London.
In the 1960s he became one of the major photographers of the British edition of Vogue Magazine. Soon after he started working for its French edition as well as accepting assignments from the French and American editions of Elle.
He shoot internationally renowned models such as Laeticia Casta or Claudia Schiffer and is the one who discovered the model Amber Valleta.
Then aspiring photographer Patrick Demarchelier was his assistant.
Feurer is also famous for his advertising campaigns. His work for Kenzo in 1985-1986 was widely appreciated and in 1974 he was offered the opportunity to take the pictures of that year’s Pirelli Calendar.
