Autumn-Winter 2013/14
On the final day in Milan, Dsquared brought a performance riddled with opulent tones and noir qualities as a 1940’s jazz bar thrived and jived, setting the tone.
Dean and Dan Caten brought this performance into Technicolor and featured heavy tones of vibrant red, green, navy blues and sand that danced on waistcoats, tuxedo cuts, peacoats and cardigans. With a mixture of relaxed styling that signalled a good time (exaggerated Bowler hats did the trick) there was in parts, strict tailoring as seen on tight suits, which were in a way flamboyant, yet still held onto a masculine edge as shown through military accents.
You can’t think of Dsquared without thinking of denim and their signature jean came in rolled up slim looks that when teamed with the structured jackets and coats, oozed dapper casual. As the mob theme came to the end of its story, clear standout pieces formed in the mind; meaning that for any man with a bit of edge, Dsquared has the perfect fit.
