Coonskin cap

A Coonskin cap or fur and tail of racoon as it may be referred too, is a hat normally worn by Native American men. The hat itself is made of fur and is medium in size with a flat, rounded top that sits squarely on the head with a racoon tail attached to the back of the hat.

The hat is normally worn when hunting. It was frequently seen to be worn in the 1950s, made famous by David Crockett who wore it in a film.
