Kill Bill – Vol. 1 (2003)

A Tarantino movie about “The bride”, Uma Thurman, who draws up an assassination plot against her ex-lover Bill and his entourage as revenge for ambushing her wedding day and killing her unborn child. Although extremely violent it is done in a rather comical way, which is mirrored by the fashion.

The Bride always wears Onitsuka Tiger footwear and her trademark yellow sporty tracksuit looks like she stepped straight out of a comic book. Elle Driver, played by Darell Hannah, is very glamorous in her style and wears a trouser suit from the Moschino 2001 ready to wear collection, collection that was also bordering on the comic book style.
