Dsquared2 Men Spring-Summer 2016 –

Staying true to its iconic avant-garde image, the prolific clothing label draws inspiration from the medium of the artist. Every individual piece is a canvas , transposed into silhouette, fabric and color. Each print is inspired by an iconic art era , infused with the brash scream of fuchsia, sunshine yellow and postbox red. As the masters of theatrical runway , D’Squared2  are influenced by a ‘ taste of home , where the Canadian woods meets Italian design’ . Unlike their SS15 collection , the focus is on colour and disproportionate layering rather than erratic prints. Silhouettes are chaotic, with boxy loud beach shorts layered over black cycling leggings for an alternative take on beach wear while colour is more muted in comparison to last years iconic collection . Combining the vitality of the beach with the artistic license of a modern art , each piece tells a story that slots into D’Squared’s abstract fashion puzzle.
