Chequer
Chequer patterns are made up of lots of squares, like a grid. These squares use alternating colours, patterns or textures to create a contrast between them. A lot of the time, black and white are the only colours used to create a Checkerboard effect, which is where the pattern gets its name from. Many other colours can be used and this pattern can either be printed on; which is the most common method or colour woven into the fabric.
