Chevron or Herringbone
Chevron or Herringbone pattern was originally a colour woven pattern. It is similar to the twill weave pattern, except that it is reversed at certain intervals to create points in the pattern. Chevron or Herringbone patterns are made up of zig-zag lines going horizontally across the fabric. Herringbone patterns were usually woven from wool fibres to create a tweed effect fabric, but the effect can also be printed on.
