Dogstooth

Dog’s tooth pattern is a pattern that is made up of jagged or broken checks. These are generated using four pointed star shapes and repeating them to create this pattern. This pattern can also be known as Houndstooth and is generally made using only black and white. Other colours can also be used and the pattern is frequently colour wove, especially using wool to create a tweed-effect fabric.
