Eccentrics

This type of pattern is similar to the Op-Art pattern in terms of the way that it uses optical illusions to create interesting designs. Distortion is a common effect used on these patterns. It is thought that the Eccentrics patterns originated as a twist on the Lane’s Net pattern. Unlike Op Art patterns these patterns are available in various colours. They are usually repeated and printed onto finished pieces of fabric.
