Fall-On
Fall-on patterns are patterns in which two different colours overlap to produce a third colour. This method happens frequently in striped and checked fabrics, with probably the most common usage for this being in tartan. The patterns are generally colour woven to produce an accurate representation of the colour produced by mixing the two primary colours. This is done by using different colour warp and weft threads.
