Patchwork Fabric
Patchwork fabric was originally fabric that was made of evenly sized squares of lots of different fabrics. These fabrics used remnants of other fabrics, thereby minimising waste. Today fabrics can be printed with a patchwork pattern, without being made up of many different fabrics stitched together. These patterns incorporate many different colours, patterns, designs and motifs to create varied patterns. They are very individual and are usually printed.
